Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Engineer specialized in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming located in Brossard, QC. The individual will develop and implement control system solutions involving PLC programming, design, and implementation of HMI/SCADA interfaces. Responsibilities include analyzing project specifications, conducting system testing, troubleshooting automation systems, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating closely with clients to deliver tailored automation solutions that meet their requirements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming, including knowledge of well‑known platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell (Allen‑Bradley), or Schneider Electric

Experience with HMI and SCADA systems design, development, and deployment

Strong background in Electrical Engineering and control system implementation

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation systems issues efficiently

Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a client‑focused mindset

Familiarity with safety and quality standards in automation systems

Relevant engineering certification or degree; Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is a plus

Experience in project management and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams is an asset

Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices is beneficial
