About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced

Senior Business Analyst

to support a large, multi‑year initiative within the Public sector Project Management & Program Delivery Branch. The resource will work closely with project leadership, solution delivery vendors, business partners, and technical teams to conduct business analysis activities across discovery, design, implementation, testing, and operational readiness.

Scope

Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and traceability across project phases.

Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, workshops, and sprint ceremonies.

Support feasibility analysis, project scoping, work estimation, and risk/issue identification.

Analyze and map current‑state and future‑state business processes and data flows.

Document functional/non‑functional requirements, business rules, data models, use cases, user stories, and test assets.

Assignment Deliverables

Business Cases, RFB materials, and scope definition documentation

Business requirements and business rules

Business process models and process maps

System Requirements Specifications (SRS).

Expertise Required Must Have Demonstrated experience documenting deliverables such as:

Functional & Non-functional Requirements

System Requirements Specifications

Business Requirements & Rules

Business Process Models

Data Models (Conceptual & Logical)

Risks & Issues

Business & System Use Cases

Requirements Traceability Matrices

Status Reports

Test Plans, Strategies & Test Cases

Experience facilitating JAD sessions, sprint ceremonies, and translating business needs into technical requirements.

Hands on experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, validation, backlog management, and iterative delivery.

Strong understanding of SDLC (waterfall, iterative, agile) and structured methodologies.

Experience analyzing and estimating system applications in large integrated mainframe and mid tier environments.

Nice to Have

Experience with prototyping tools, design thinking, user‑centric design, and accessibility (AODA) compliance.

Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Security Clearance Required.
