Overview Join our Migrate Foundation team as a Senior Platform Developer, driving complex, high-impact projects that shape the foundations of ShareGate Migrate. You'll modernize our desktop application, web services, and core architecture while leading technical direction and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to projects that modernize our desktop application, web services, and core architecture

Partner with other developers to design, implement, and deliver solutions from end to end

Collaborate with feature teams to ensure platform improvements meet their needs

Support and improve our build infrastructure and delivery pipelines

Take ownership of technical direction and help structure the team's ways of working

Mentor and support junior developers in planning and execution

Propose and drive impactful improvements that raise the standard for the whole department

Typical Week

Few structured meetings and plenty of focused coding, reviewing, coaching, and design leadership

Guide one or two projects from concept through delivery with teammates

Collaborate with other teams to understand challenges and add value

Next Challenges

Complete the rollout of ShareGate’s new subscription and licensing system

Overhaul and consolidate Migrate’s web services onto a new cloud infrastructure

Drive major architecture improvements to modularize the codebase and optimize build processes

Support high‑profile features such as PowerShell 7 support or Google Workspace Migrations

Qualifications

Significant experience in mobile or desktop development, ideally in a product‑oriented environment

Experience in full‑stack web development and operating services in the cloud (Azure preferred)

Strong command of C# and the .NET ecosystem

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)

Comfortable with ambiguity: you ask questions, make proposals, and move forward without waiting for perfect definition

Autonomous and organized: prioritize time wisely, take full ownership, and drive projects to completion with quality focus

Mentorship: help junior developers grow by sharing knowledge, giving feedback, and raising quality standards
