Your area of focus.
The Tax Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the global tax strategy, managing complex tax issues, overseeing tax compliance, and leading the tax team. This role will require close collaboration with the executive team and direct involvement in key business decisions.
What drives your day‑to‑day?
Provide senior tax advice on corporate strategy and major business decisions
Oversee tax compliance, reporting, and tax provisions for international and domestic operations
Manage and mentor the tax team, fostering professional growth and leadership
Oversee tax audits and disputes, managing relationships with tax authorities
Drive adoption of technology and process improvements within the tax function
Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws, including IFRS and US GAAP
Monitor and analyze changes in tax regulations and advise senior management on impacts
Develop and implement tax risk management strategies
What are the must‑haves…
10-15 years of tax experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
Strong expertise in international tax, tax compliance, reporting and planning
Proven experience working with multinational organizations
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a high‑performing tax team
Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking ability
Proficiency in tax compliance software (Taxprep, Alteryx, OneStream, MS Power BI) and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage complex projects and provide strategic tax guidance to executive management
