Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and technical oversight of real estate development projects from the design phase through completion. The successful candidate acts as a key liaison between internal teams, external professionals, and regulatory authorities to ensure project quality, compliance, and overall performance. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering components related to real estate developments (infrastructure, civil engineering, environmental, geotechnical, depending on the project). Contribute to defining technical requirements and assist in developing budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Lead the tendering process, analyze proposals, and participate in the selection of suppliers and professional firms. Coordinate the work of engineering firms, consultants, architects, and other internal and external professionals. Manage requests and work coordination with utility providers (hydro, gas, telecommunications, etc.). Review and validate plans, specifications, and technical studies (geotechnical, environmental, traffic, municipal infrastructure, etc.). Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, laws, and regulations in Quebec and Ontario. Collaborate with municipalities and regulatory authorities to obtain required approvals, permits, and authorizations. Monitor project costs, schedules, and technical risks throughout all phases. Identify technical challenges and propose solutions to optimize costs, quality, and overall project performance. Maintain close coordination with internal development, construction, and property management teams. Perform any other related duties associated with engineering project management. Desired Profile

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who is customer-oriented and has a strong sense of priorities. Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or related discipline). 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in engineering project management, ideally within the real estate, municipal, or construction sectors. Strong knowledge of applicable standards, codes, and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills. Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail. Proficiency in standard computer tools (MS Office and project management software). WHAT WE OFFER:
