Job Description
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage projects, products, and people. You will own client relationships and project outcomes across various kinds of digital products. You will also use AI tools to improve process efficiency and quality, and contribute to the building of applications. You will help to ensure client satisfaction, and manage and help to grow an evolving operations and project management team.
Responsibilities
Own project budgets and profitability, forecast needs, track actuals, manage change orders, and flag risks before they become problems
Serve as the primary client contact across your projects: run kickoffs, status meetings, and retrospectives; manage expectations proactively
Lead cross-functional teams (design, engineering, strategy) to deliver on time, on scope, and on budget
Bring product thinking to client engagements focusing on real user and business outcomes
Build internal tools, prototypes, and workflow automations
Manage and develop pm team; contribute to team hiring and onboarding
Use AI tools throughout your workflow and help the team adopt them
Ensure quality and thoroughness across project deliverables; evaluate and raise the bar on your team's attention to detail
Support proposals and business development with realistic scoping, pricing, and client insights
About You
You have
5+ years of project management experience, ideally in a digital agency or consultancy
Direct experience managing project budgets, timelines, and client relationships
A track record of delivering complex web or digital projects on time and within scope
Experience in product management
Interest in cutting edge technology, and growing that skill set
Hands-on experience using AI tools
You are
A clear, direct communicator who writes well and speaks confidently with clients, executives, and technical teams
Relationship-oriented. You build trust, navigate difficult conversations, and turn projects into partnerships
Accountable. You own outcomes
Organized and thorough, and experienced enough to know which details matter most
Comfortable with ambiguity, distributed teams, and making judgment calls with imperfect information
Curious and self-driven. You improve processes, adopt new tools, and seek efficient ways to work
Agency or consultancy experience (you understand the client services model)
Agile methodology experience in a client services context
Account management or business development involvement
Experience using AI coding tools to write code
