Position Overview
North Shore Honda is seeking a Sales Consultant tojoin our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role plays akey part in driving dealership growth by cultivating customer relationships,promoting vehicle sales, and contributing to departmental performance goals. The Sales Consultant will represent Dilawri’s commitment to exceptional guestexperience, product expertise, and a collaborative team culture.
This is a Commission Based position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Follow up on all sales leads from varioussources to maximize opportunity.
Meet and exceed individual and departmentalsales targets.
Promote new business opportunities throughprospecting and referral networks.
Deliver a superior customer experience byunderstanding client needs and ensuring high satisfaction.
Maintain strong product knowledge for allvehicle models; participate in available product training.
Set monthly sales and productivity goals anddevelop plans to achieve them.
Build and maintain rapport with customers tosupport long-term relationships.
Demonstrate effective negotiation skills tosupport successful sales outcomes.
Accurately maintain customer and sales recordsusing computerized systems.
Adapt quickly to sales processes and marketchanges within the automotive industry.
Follow through on leads and ensure timelyclosing of sales.
Collaborate effectively with team members toensure strong overall dealership performance.
Uphold high levels of professionalism, workethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Qualifications Required
Strong customer service skills with excellentverbal and written communication.
Proven ability to negotiate, make sounddecisions, and close sales effectively.
Ability to build and maintain positive customerrelationships.
High level of initiative with a self‑starter,outgoing, and positive attitude.
Strong organizational and procedural skills;ability to meet deadlines.
Quick adaptability to new processes and industrydevelopments.
Competent computer skills, including Internetapplications and MS Office.
Vehicle product knowledge is an asset;manufacturer training is provided.
Previous automotive sales experience is anasset.
Valid British Columbia Driver’s License and acurrent ICBC Driver’s Abstract.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
