Job Description

You show accountability of running a project or process to completion by taking on the role of an owner, solving for roadblocks and proactively identifying possible issues for the overall success of the group. You take opportunities to provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship.* **Data quality –** You understand the importance of data quality in reporting and are mindful of the impacts of low data quality to reporting. You are systematic in adhering to the processes related to monitoring data quality, raising data quality issues, and taking ownership to solve them in both production reporting and project delivery setting.* **Business and data analysis –** You understand that both technical and business acumen are required. You are well versed in SQL and will be a reliable liaison between business and technology groups. You understand the processes related to project delivery such as requirements analysis and user acceptance testing. Working closely with partners such as risk data consumers and risk data providers, you will provide analysis and support to the group with concepts around ingesting, measuring, monitoring, and reporting wholesale risk data to regulators and senior management.* **Projects & testing –** Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project’s timeline, budget and goals. Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business.* **You have a degree** in business, finance, software development, or risk management.* **You have a background** in Expected Credit Losses reporting and calculations. In particular with OSFI and Public disclosure reporting such as Loans note in the bank's Quarterly and Annual reports.* **You have a background in projects delivery** related to data warehousing and Reporting.* **You give meaning to data.** You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information. You have experience in Data Analysis tools, including SQL, BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI. You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.* **You love to learn.** You're passionate about growing your knowledge, and you know that there is no limit to what you can achieve.
