Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Payments, to join our dynamic product team. This role plays a critical part in delivering modern, reliable, and member-centric payment solutions. You’ll own the strategy and execution for key payments capabilities, balancing member needs, regulatory requirements, risk, and operational excellence.

What you will be doing

Own and drive the payments product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and member needs.

Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for payment solutions—from discovery and business case development through delivery, launch, and continuous optimization.

Partner closely with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and marketing to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant payment experiences.

Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies across the Canadian payments ecosystem to inform product decisions.

Use data, insights, and member feedback to prioritize enhancements, measure outcomes, and continuously improve performance.

Develop clear product requirements, business cases, and success metrics, and influence senior stakeholders to gain alignment and support.

Act as the subject-matter expert for payment products, representing product interests in cross-functional forums and initiatives.

Ensure delivery remains on track with agreed timelines, scope, and budgets, proactively addressing risks and dependencies.

What you must have

7–10 years of product management experience, with significant exposure to payments or money movement.

Strong understanding of the Canadian payments landscape, including Interac e-Transfer, payments modernization, Real-Time Rail, and open banking.

Experience navigating fintech and payments capabilities within Canadian regulatory and infrastructure constraints.

Expertise in digital money movement, including e-commerce payments, prepaid programs, and card-based solutions.

A proven track record of taking complex products from concept through delivery and optimization.

Solid understanding of payment systems, enabling technologies, and regulatory considerations.

Excellent communication skills and comfort working in agile, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies.

Salary/Rate Range $102,900 – $122,000
