What we’re looking for SurveyMonkey is looking for a high-impact

Senior Technical Program Manager II

to drive our most critical, large-scale technical initiatives. You are a seasoned lead who thrives in fast-paced environments, bridging the gap between Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Support. You possess the executive presence to report to leadership and the technical "boots-on-the-ground" experience to unblock engineering teams. We’re looking for a teammate who doesn't just follow a process but optimizes it to ensure we ship high-quality software predictably and at scale.

What you’ll be working on

End-to-End Delivery:

Lead the execution of highly complex, cross-functional programs from inception to launch, ensuring alignment across our global R&D teams.

Data-Driven Insights:

You are an expert in project health metrics; you build and maintain sophisticated dashboards (JQL, Google Sheets/Tableau) to provide real-time visibility into velocity, risks, and quality.

Technical Problem Solving:

Partner with Engineering Leads to identify technical dependencies and resource gaps, facilitating "trade-off" discussions that keep projects on track.

Lifecycle Mastery:

Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage intricate workstreams, ensuring documentation is clear and the source of truth is indisputable.

Process Excellence:

Continually refine the agile rituals and delivery frameworks for your specific workstreams to improve team predictable output.

We’d love to hear from people with

Experience:

8–12 years of technical program management experience, specifically within SaaS environments. You have a proven track record of shipping 2–3 "v1" products or major platform migrations.

Strategic Execution:

You can take a vague product goal and decompose it into a concrete technical roadmap. You are a pro at "bringing structure to chaos."

Influence:

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence VPs and Directors while remaining a trusted peer to individual engineers.

Agile Expertise:

Deep understanding of PDLC / SDLC and various agile flavors (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with the wisdom to know when to follow the "book" and when to be flexible.

Tooling Pro:

Advanced proficiency in Jira/Atlassian suite, specifically in using data to predict bottlenecks before they happen.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making.

As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
