is currently seeking a

Territory Sales Manager, Western Canada,

preferably

based in Calgary . The territory for this position includes southern Alberta, southern Saskatchewan and the eastern Kootenays in British Columbia and requires 50% travel with 20% overnights. There are no direct reports and the position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

What You Will Be Doing As a professional familiar with the construction industry, you will maintain and expand

ROCKWOOL’s

presence as a major supplier of insulation to commercial and residential markets. You will increase demand and solicit orders for products, maintaining awareness of local competitive conditions. You will conduct demonstrations and product knowledge sessions with distributor staff, box store staff, LBM (Lumber building materials) staff, specialty distributors, installers, general contractors and builders, etc.

Drive profitable growth within the assigned sales region

Assume full responsibility for sales volume, revenue and margin targets in the region

Cultivate relationships with colleagues, customers, and key stakeholders

Lead project tracking with the Specification Manager and execute a pull-through strategy

Conduct strategic account planning sessions with key customers

Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities for growth

Develop a comprehensive sales plan aimed at achieving goals and review quarterly

Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts

Provide analytics to effectively drive growth and for internal reporting needs

Make full use of all digital tools including CRM tracking 100% of activity

Facilitate customer meetings with the Regional Sales Manager

What You Bring

3-5 years of success in building materials sales role(s)

Knowledge of commercial and residential building technology or construction

Knowledge of the insulation market and

good negotiating skills

Good territory management skills

High drive, commitment, energy and integrity

Ability to build strong internal and external relationships

Technical / Business education preferably to University Level

Good leadership, communication and presentation skills

Working knowledge of MS Office products and CRM software

Good organizational and analytical skills

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
