Job Description
Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Press Lead in our Tillsonburg, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Press Team Lead is responsible for support team members on the set up, changeover, and operation of press stamping equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cold stamping, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary Of Responsibilities
Supervise and support team members on the set up, changeover, and operation of press stamping equipment
Provide direction, training, and support to operators to ensure a safe and efficient work performance
Maintain a safety-first culture by enforcing all health and safety policies in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Track and report production KPI’s
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
Facilitate effective communication among departments and shifts.
Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and manage attendance, conduct, and performance issues accordingly.
Assist employees with troubleshooting technical concerns
Maintain quality standards and documentation to IATF 16949 standards and customer requirements.
Other duties as assigned by the management team
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a metal stamping environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years working with presses
The pay range for this role is $28.00/hour to $32.00/hour.
