Night Shift Personal Support Worker (Law 90)

The St-Augustin private seniors' residence is currently seeking a candidate for a part-time night shift Personal Support Worker (Law 90).

** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home **

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: Friday night (shift 2/14)

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around

Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations

Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations

Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)

Respond to all emergency situations

While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training

PDSP training

AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home

Law 90 Training
