Senior Hardware Engineer

Senior Hardware Engineer Responsible for architectural hardware design & development of green portable power products such as UPS, power supply, battery management system, power tools, Energy storage system.

Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accuracy, availability, and compliance with design requirements.

Generate and manage Gerber files and manufacturing documentation for PCB fabrication.

Perform hardware verification, validation, and functional testing for PCBA designs.

Identify and propose second source component replacements to improve supply chain resilience and cost optimization.

Support PCB layout activities, ensuring signal integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with design standards.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams including firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.

Assist in troubleshooting hardware issues during development and production stages.

Ensure documentation and design files are properly maintained and updated.

Provide test specification to factory and manufacturing for test verification.

Requirements

Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years related experience in hardware design.

Solid product design experience in areas such as Battery Management System, Power Supply and Converter, UPS, inverter, super capacitor, Lithium Battery Protection circuit, DC‑DC chargers or BLDC Motor Controller is preferred.

Experience in PCBA design (e.g. Altium Designer or equivalent), simulation (e.g. LTSpice), layout, testing, and debugging.

Good understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and manufacturing processes.

Good attitude towards work, challenge mindset with good analytical and problem solving skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Willing to travel occasionally.

Experience in patent writing will have an added advantage.

Candidate with lead experience will be considered for senior engineer position.
