Job Description As part of our growth and our commitment to amplify our impact, we are looking for a passionate Senior Consultant in Water Protection and Enhancement, eager to apply their expertise to meaningful projects that strengthen water security, climate resilience, and optimize water use. At CIMA+, your expertise will be showcased to our clients by providing strategic recommendations in water management and climate change adaptation. You will have the opportunity to position CIMA+ upstream in the delivery of projects of varied scale, with strategic mandates related to water security, water efficiency, resource protection, and climate resilience.

Responsibilities

Position CIMA+ upstream of technical projects to develop proactive strategies that support municipalities and private companies in managing water and climate change issues, such as flooding, droughts, and erosion.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of experts (Environment, Infrastructure, Energy, and Resources) in developing recommended solutions as part of strategic planning.

Carry out technical, financial, and regulatory studies related to water protection and enhancement.

Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities, participating in events (conferences, webinars, sectoral working groups, etc.), and assisting in the preparation of service proposals.

Based on data, analyses, or studies, develop communication tools that propose strategies and potential solutions to support clients in their decision‑making.

Contribute to the development of new service offerings, tools, and methodologies to foster innovation.

Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field, including technological innovations, regulatory changes, and emerging market trends.

Organize and facilitate workshops with various stakeholders.

Prepare documents and presentations to showcase project progress, results, and recommendations.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering, environmental studies, economics, or a related field. A master’s degree will be considered an asset.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in implementing water resource management projects, environmental consulting, water use efficiency, climate change adaptation, or related fields.

Professional experience in managing strategic consulting projects that encompass political, economic, and technical dimensions.

Professional experience in watershed management (water footprint) or water-related public policy development will be considered assets for the position.

Ability to lead projects—sometimes multidisciplinary and strategic—in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (e.g., clients, government entities, suppliers, communities).

Strong skills in strategy development, analytical thinking, and the ability to propose tailored solutions and innovations in energy transition.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English. Proficiency in French will be considered an asset.
