Demand Planning Manager

who is ready to work at the crossroads of the Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.

Main Mission Ensure forecast accuracy through strong mastery of planning tools, continuous process improvement, and seamless cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities Actively contribute to the S&OP process and the annual volume review. Translate promotional plans into shipment volumes in collaboration with the commercial teams. Strengthen demand visibility with the Customer Solutions, Marketing, Sales, and Insights teams, and share key information with Production Planning. Ensure continuous alignment between forecasts, production, and potential operational risks. Consolidate forecasts to provide leadership teams with a clear overall view.

Develop relevant analyses to anticipate future demand. Ensure forecast consistency by customer, product, and distribution center. Incorporate seasonality impacts across commercial segments. Support volume anticipation for product launches and discontinuations. Measure, track, and improve forecast accuracy. Produce ad hoc reports to better understand variances and support decision‑making. Develop consumption‑based forecasting models when needed. Document risks and opportunities to support proactive decision‑making.

Compensation & Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000 to $100,000 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions.

Education & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in an S&OP environment (ideally in CPG). Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with o9 (DP) and Nielsen. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in team management (an asset).

Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical mindset, rigor, and problem‑solving abilities. Comfortable working in a matrixed environment and collaborating within teams. Strong ability to prioritize and adapt to rapid changes. Passion for continuous improvement and ability to challenge the status quo.
