SAP ISU Consultant

Overview Insight Global is seeking an experienced

SAP IS‑U Consultant

to join a major Canadian utilities organization undergoing significant modernization and transformation. This consultant will be an integral member of the

SAP Billing & Reporting Team , contributing to a variety of upcoming large-scale projects across the meter-to-cash value chain. The position is fully remote, with preference for candidates located in Alberta due to stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support the SAP Billing & Reporting team across multiple enterprise initiatives and enhancement projects.

Provide functional expertise across IS‑U modules including Device Management, Billing & Invoicing, Customer Service, and Energy Data Management.

Analyze, design, configure, and test solutions within SAP IS‑U to meet evolving business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP development, data, architecture, and business operations.

Troubleshoot production issues, enhance existing configurations, and optimize meter-to-cash processes.

Contribute to S/4HANA migration readiness activities as required (if applicable).

Document functional designs, configuration elements, test cases, and support models.

Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on SAP IS‑U experience

within a large enterprise environment.

Strong knowledge of

meter-to-cash business processes

within the utilities sector.

Expertise across key IS‑U functional modules:

Device Management (DM)

Meter Reading & Data Management

Billing & Invoicing

Customer Service

Proven experience delivering solutions in complex, integrated SAP landscapes.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with

Azure Data Lake

or cloud-based data solutions.

Exposure to

SAP BTP ,

Integration Suite , and

Azure Logic Apps .

Utilities industry experience within regulated environment
