Senior Business Analyst

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join a leading financial services company in Downtown Toronto. This is a hybrid role in office 2 times per week at their Downtown location. This role is a 4 month contract with potential for extension. This role supports the Risk Data Management Office in delivering high-impact data analysis and issue resolution across wholesale credit risk data systems. The analyst will work closely with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), developers, and the Business Intelligence team to identify, analyze, and resolve data gaps in support of OSFI reporting and economic capital initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on data analysis.

Strong understanding of wholesale credit risk data and commercial loan structures.

Advanced SQL and Excel skills (complex queries, partitioning, decoding).

Experience with data warehouse technologies and systems (MIF, TRACS, PLEXIS, CEAS, ICAP, BCLASS).

Familiarity with OSFI reporting and translation rules across multiple levels.

Ability to work with adjudication systems and understand instrument-to-facility-to-customer mappings.

Direct exposure to OSFI reporting processes and business intelligence collaboration.

Familiarity with retail systems and adjudication workflows.

Experience with economic capital modeling and ESL warehouse structures.
