Infrastructure Specialist – Hybrid

As an Infrastructure Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager of Infrastructure and CT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Canon Canada’s network and telephony systems. Your contributions will be key to ensuring high availability, exceptional performance, and unwavering resilience across our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Maintaining and troubleshooting a production enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructure
Scheduling, coordinating, and executing upgrades and improvements to the WAN/LAN/WLAN
Partnering with the Systems Admin team to support the project work for the data centre environment, including VM Ware, Microsoft Windows, SAN, web servers, printing, backups, and scripting
Researching, recommending, implementing, and monitoring improvements to existing LAN/WAN architecture and network management systems
Resolving escalated issues from the help desk
Developing and supporting project plans and managing the process
Completing Installations and configurations of Microsoft Teams VOIP infrastructure
Conducting configuration of settings within contact centre, and administering the end-user settings
Qualifications
Post-Secondary Education in Information Technology, or Networking
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Cisco Certified Network Associate certification is required
Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is considered an asset
Superb computer/technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve highly technical network issues and problems
Excellent analytical skills to resolve and troubleshoot system-wide enterprise problems
Strong project/process management skills
Ability to prioritize and balance projects and incoming technical issues

Compensation Range: $82,000-90,000 annually.
