About the Team You will be part of a team that operates at the intersection of biological research and commercial data. Unlike traditional support roles, you will be a central, integrated member of the team. Your work will directly impact our ability to maintain, fix, and evolve the data pipelines that drive our core initiatives.

What the role looks like: This is a unique opportunity to develop core components of our sales data pipeline as both a technical and subject matter expert. We are looking for a candidate who speaks both Biology and Python, someone who understands the complexity of life science research and wants to apply an engineering mindset to build the pipelines that power our sales data. You will act as the technical bridge, ensuring that our data automation remains grounded in biological context.

What You’ll Do! More about you!

Own the maintenance of existing data pipelines, primarily within Google Colab, and build new ones to support sales data initiatives.

Support the team's transition from manual scripting to automated workflow orchestration using Airflow.

Execute daily technical processes, including distill coverage and publishing events from scripts.

Act as the technical SME for the sales team, ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights.

Work closely with the broader team on core initiatives, participating in research syncs to understand the why behind the data.

More about you!

You enjoy hunting for information on the web.

You’re highly organized and comfortable working independently.

You possess a foundational understanding of biological sciences (e.g., Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, or Molecular Biology). You don't just see data points; you understand the biological context behind life science research topics.

You are comfortable navigating research environments and can interpret experimental data or distill complex scientific findings into structured information.

You have a strong focus on building and maintaining data flows rather than just app development. You enjoy the gritty work of ensuring information moves accurately and reliably from one stage to the next.

You’re detail‑oriented, so you’ll notice that we’d like you to mention what shape can be found at the coordinates 1.347000, 17.154400.

Proficiency in Python is a must, specifically for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with Google Colab is highly preferred, as it is the backbone of our current workflows.

Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) workflow orchestration tools like Airflow to move beyond manual scripting.

You can act as a technical SME for our sales team, explaining technical data processes in a way that provides clear, actionable business value.

You have a high bar for data integrity and find joy in auditing large datasets to ensure 100% accuracy.
