Job Description
What you’ll do
Captain DHC-2 Beaver float operations across coastal BC, including water takeoffs/landings, docking, and ramp procedures.
Operate scheduled and bespoke charter flights while delivering clear briefings and outstanding customer service.
Exercise strong airmanship and decision-making in a changing maritime environment; assess weather, tides, and performance limits.
Plan and conduct flights in accordance with company SOPs, the CARs, and SMS; complete weight & balance, fuel planning, and navigation.
Champion safety in remote operations; manage risk and apply threat and error management.
Collaborate with dispatch and maintenance; support dock duties, fueling, and loading as a proactive team member.
What you’ll bring
Minimum 1,000 hours PIC total time.
Minimum 500 hours PIC floatplane time.
CPL with Float Rating; TCCA license.
Valid Class 1 Medical.
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Safety-oriented mindset; capable of operating independently in remote coastal locations.
Adaptable and composed in a changing environment; a self-starter who takes initiative.
Eligible to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not provided.
Type rating not required
— full DHC-2 training provided.
