Dematic Canada is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across the region. The Sales Director will develop and implement the sales strategy, manage key customer relationships, and lead a high‑performing sales team. Tasks and Qualifications
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Dematic Canada's business goals and objectives
Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, growing existing customer accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and empower the team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to improve the team's performance
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with Dematic Canada's solutions and services
Market Analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to find opportunities and threats, adjusting the sales strategy accordingly
Sales Process Improvement:
Continuously improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation
Budget Management:
Lead all aspects of the sales budget optimally, prioritizing to improve ROI and achieve business objectives
Cross‑functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, engineering, and project management, to ensure a flawless customer experience and successful project execution
Reporting and Forecasting:
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and insights
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Consistent track record of at least 7‑10 years in B2B sales, with a strong background in sophisticated solution selling, preferably in the supply chain and logistics industry
Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in a leadership role, leading and developing high‑performance sales teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and support the sales team
Knowledge of automation, robotics, and material handling systems is a plus
The ability and availability to travel up to 20% of the time
