Electrical Engineer

specializing in the design and development of

dry-type transformers . This senior role is ideal for an engineer with strong analytical skills, experience in industrial electrical design, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop dry-type transformers and electrical assemblies • Produce and update electrical schematics and technical documentation • Perform manual calculations, validations, and technical analyses • Prepare cost estimates for engineering projects • Contribute to new product development and process improvements • Collaborate with mechanical design, production, and engineering teams • Communicate technical requirements to drafting specialists

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Electrical Engineering •

10–25 years of experience

in electrical design (transformer experience is a strong asset) • Strong manual calculation and analytical skills • Proficiency with

Excel ; SolidWorks is an asset •

English and French required

(spoken and written) • Ability to work on-site full-time • Autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage complex engineering tasks
