Sr. MERN Stack Developer

Senior Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) Toronto - 3-4 days WFO Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Build robust server-side applications and APIs using Node.js and NestJS. Develop and optimize front-end applications using React.js and Next.js, including server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG). Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth and reliable CI/CD pipelines. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure high performance and reliability. Mentor junior developers and actively participate in code reviews. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve development practices. Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on the MERN stack. Proficiencies

Strong proficiency in: React.js Node.js Express.js Hands‑on experience with Next.js for SSR and SSG. Solid experience building and managing containerized applications using Docker. Practical experience with Kubernetes for application orchestration and deployment. Strong understanding of NestJS for building scalable and maintainable backend services. In‑depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Essential Skills
