Job Responsibilities

Ensure compliance of Remote’s Canadian MSB with FINTRAC and Bank of Canada’s RPAA legislation

Draft and implement policies related to customer due diligence and transaction monitoring

Lead AML/CTF audits for Remote’s Canadian regulated entity and other North American activities

Maintain and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory authorities and conduct effectiveness reviews

Qualifications

Extensive experience within the Second Line of Defence in the financial sector, specifically in Financial Crime Compliance

Expert knowledge of Canadian payments legislation, including FINTRAC MSB rules and Bank of Canada’s RPAA

Previous experience in Compliance and Compliance Operations roles within a global financial services company

Must be a resident of Canada

Professional AML / MLRO certifications and fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with USA AML compliance regulations

Familiarity with remote work environments
