Talent Attraction

Recruit top talent for campus new grad/co‑op positions at post‑secondary institutions across Atlantic Canada Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders Act as the primary point of contact for local campus teams, post‑secondary institutions and student associations; be the go‑to for campus recruitment in Atlantic Canada Strategically manage sponsorship opportunities with target schools and relevant student associations Provide regular reports on relevant KPI’s Schedule virtual and/or in‑person interviews in conjunction with local team members Screen campus applications & digital interviews Distribute campus job postings to local post‑secondary institutions, student associations and applicable job boards Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for future job openings Actively seek opportunities to keep Doane GT at top of mind for students and career centres

Event Planning & Logistics

Lead the planning and execution of campus recruitment events both external and internal (in‑person & virtual) across Atlantic Canada Coordinate event logistics including booking facilities, planning, and executing Research and recommend vendors for event‑related needs Co‑ordinate internal representatives to attend events and represent the brand Connect with career centres at schools across Atlantic Canada to create contact lists, collect relevant information, and ship materials as required Create and track lists of campaign participants based on location and event Create email templates & surveys to be distributed to virtual networking event attendees Assist with the preparation and distribution of materials for campus interviewing across local region

Social Media & Marketing

Assist with the creation, promotion and scheduling of social media campaigns (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Monitor social media sites to engage with followers & respond to online inquiries

Qualifications

Completed university degree or diploma in Business, Event Management, Marketing or related field 4+ years of campus recruitment and/or event execution experience Proven ability to build relationships and work with cross‑functional teams to help achieve organizational goals Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to assume, prioritize, and execute multiple deliverables Ability to take initiative and operate in a self‑directed and results‑oriented manner Prior experience with social media (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) Flexibility in approaching tasks/projects and able to quickly shift focus and priorities as needed Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Access to a vehicle is required – travel within Atlantic Canada is essential in this role.
