What is the opportunity?

In the role of Director, Wealth Management Strategy, you will play a key role in supporting the development and advancement of Wealth Management’s global strategic agenda. Working closely with the Senior Director of Wealth Management Strategy and senior business leaders, you will help identify strategic opportunities, analyze complex business challenges, and develop insights that inform decision‑making across the Wealth Management platform. You will bring an external perspective on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging business models while leveraging advanced analytics and AI‑enabled tools to generate deeper insights and accelerate strategic decision‑making.

This role sits at the center of the Wealth Management organization, providing rigorous analysis, strategic insight, and thought leadership to support the development of key strategic priorities.

What will you do?

Lead the development and execution of key strategy initiatives that support the Wealth Management business objectives, including growth opportunities, productivity improvements, and operating model enhancements. Proactively identify opportunities to drive revenue growth, advisor productivity, cost efficiencies, and client experience improvements, while ensuring alignment with risk management and enterprise priorities. Conduct comprehensive analysis using structured problem‑solving frameworks, financial modeling, and data‑driven insights to develop robust strategic recommendations. Develop and deliver executive‑level presentations that influence business partners and senior leaders, helping align stakeholders and mobilize action. Partner with leaders across Wealth Management, Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, and Enterprise Strategy to design and implement strategic initiatives. Lead working sessions, strategy workshops, and problem‑solving discussions with cross‑functional teams to drive alignment and accelerate decision making. Contribute to the development of the Wealth Management Strategy & Transformation function by mentoring team members, improving analytical capabilities, and strengthening strategic thinking across the organization. Lead strategic analysis to support the development of Wealth Management’s long‑term strategy, including evaluating growth opportunities, market dynamics, and competitive positioning. Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis to address strategic questions facing the business and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations for leadership discussion, including:

Client segment growth opportunities Advisor productivity and platform strategy Competitive positioning and differentiation Emerging business models and partnerships Market expansion opportunities

Utilize AI‑enabled tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance strategic research, market analysis, and insight generation. Help embed data‑driven and technology‑enabled approaches into the strategy development process, including: What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ownership mindset, with a track record of proactively identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and driving work beyond defined scope to deliver meaningful business impact 5-10+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, or financial services Strong understanding of wealth management industry dynamics Familiarity with AI, data analytics, or emerging technologies in financial services Experience synthesizing complex insights into clear executive communication Experience working in wealth management, banking, asset management, or financial services Strong experience conducting strategic analysis and structured problem solving Nice to Have
