The Role Are you interested in troubleshooting both software and hardware issues? If physical and logical network infrastructures excite you then keep reading. Your knowledge in routing, switching, optical, and security infrastructures including firewalls, VPNs, NAT, open‑source network monitoring and security platforms will assist us in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the network. The Network Operations Centre Analyst role actively monitors and reports data on the company’s network and day‑to‑day Network Operations matters and NOC projects.

What You’ll Do

Plan, deploy, and implement services within a Service Provider environment.

Assess, diagnose, and repair issues in configuration and hardware.

Assist with the development of documentation and workflows to improve service delivery quality & timing.

Evaluate test results (RFC2544/Ethersam/OTDR/iOLM, etc) and documentation to ensure quality of install.

Communicate clearly, representing Beanfield to internal and external audiences with differing levels of technical fluency.

Work closely with field teams for testing and verification on the turn‑up of customer services.

Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, concepts, practices and procedures and potential impact on business.

Ensure deadlines are met in an efficient and professional manner.

Perform peer reviews of new service implementations.

Address errors or omissions in provisioning documentation.

De‑provision services as customers move/change/cancel their services.

What You Bring

High school diploma with post‑secondary degree or diploma in network security and/or administration.

2+ years of relevant work experience in networking.

Excellent network skills with LAN, WAN and Core networks.

Expertise in LANX, Wave and Peering services.

Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Arista devices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Collaborative teamwork with cross‑functional team members.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation.

Bilingual (French & English) is an asset.

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; the STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.
