On a daily basis you will have to:

Carry out SIL validation calculations Write Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) Prepare quotes for instrumentation and control Produce instrument and control valve specifications Participate in P&ID reviews Supervise the preparation of technical drawings Develop test procedures Carry out site visits and inspections

Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering (or equivalent) Member of the Order of Engineers of the Province About 10 years and more of experience in the field

You are the one we’re looking for if you have:

Excellent teamwork skills The ability to quickly converge in problem solving Functional safety certification like CFSP, CFSE and TÜV and/or knowledge of IEC-61511 and ANSI/ISA84 standards Knowledge of industrial automation (an asset) Knowledge of PLC programming, human-machine interfaces (HMI), distributed control systems (DCS) and safety systems (an asset) Knowledge of electrical circuits and power distribution (an asset) A keen sense of resourcefulness
