Pay or shift range: $70,000 CAD to $85,000 CAD

Job Summary:
CIMCO is looking for a junior or intermediate level Pre-Sales Engineering Designer to join our Sales Design Department in Burlington, ON. This role would report directly in to the Team Lead, Pre-Sales Engineering.
Role Responsibilities:
Create tools and resources to support the sales team in design and estimating tasks, including material take-offs and selections.
Review and analyze refrigeration system designs for Industrial/ Recreational applications to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Develop initial equipment selections and materials specifications as per the customer’s scope of work.
Coordinate with inside parties such as; sales, engineering, manufacturing, and construction to develop a well-defined sales proposal.
Prepare and issue engineering documentation such as; piping & instrumentation diagrams, layouts, sequences of operation, specifications.
Ensure system designs adhere to all applicable design codes.
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an Accredited Institution having a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong thermodynamics background.
1-2 years of experience in relevant field
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
An individual with a proven track record of being goal oriented and motivated who is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of refrigeration system designs, preferably industrial system using ammonia.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Excel.
