The Opportunity
We are seeking a Marketing and Logistics (OTC) Lead to join our SAP implementation team. This role offers the chance to lead a critical workstream within a large‑scale transformation program, focusing on SAP Commodities Management and related OTC processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across Canada and LATAM, ensuring successful delivery of the build and testing phases. The position requires semi‑regular travel to Toronto and Vancouver, and prior experience with mining projects is highly preferred.
Your Key Responsibilities
Serve as the stream lead for SAP Commodities Management, managing a small team across Canada and LATAM.
Oversee the Build Phase, including RICEFW development, configuration, and demo completion.
Prepare for the Testing Phase, including test script development and system readiness.
Act as the primary escalation point for decisions, risks, and issues within your workstream.
Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with data, technical, change, training, development, security, and testing teams.
Facilitate solution playbacks to business stakeholders and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Functional Scope
SAP Commodities Management
Sales and service master data management
Contract management
Sales and service order management & billing
Claims, returns, and refunds management
Quality Management for assays within Marketing and Logistics
Lead Expectations
Manage service provider resources within the workstream.
Provide input to the Integration Manager and Project Manager.
Ensure design, build, and test deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.
Oversee team adherence to governance procedures and provide status updates.
Participate in cross‑functional process and solution discussions.
Architect complex solution and data elements within the Marketing and Logistics scope.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong leadership and team management skills across multi‑location teams.
Deep knowledge of SAP OTC processes, with hands‑on experience in Commodities Management.
Ability to navigate complex business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Forward‑thinking, self‑starter attitude with adaptability to new challenges.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
5+ years of SAP OTC experience, including full lifecycle implementations.
Experience with SAP Commodities Management and integration with related modules.
Prior exposure to mining industry projects is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel semi‑regularly to Toronto and Vancouver.
Ideal Qualifications
Prior consulting experience
and a demonstrated history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies.
