Responsibilities/Qualifications
The VP of Service Provider Product Line Management will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy, vision, and roadmap. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, this role will lead a dynamic product management and product marketing team and collaborate closely with cross‑functional departments to drive the development and delivery of exceptional Public Safety solutions, for service providers, that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a product line that grows faster than the market.
Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with the company’s overall goals
Create, implement, and execute a winning product strategy based on knowledge of AI, cloud-based technology trends, customer needs, regulatory landscape, and market dynamics
Drive the creation and execution of a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the development and enhancement of Public Safety solutions
Prioritize features, functionality, and enhancements based on market demand, competitive analysis, regulatory trends and constant customer feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and prioritize the product backlog, detailing user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria
Monitor and track the progress of development tasks, ensuring timely completion of sprint goals
Identify opportunities for innovation within the public sector and global enterprise domains
Provide strategic and technical leadership to a product management team, guiding their professional growth and fostering a collaborative environment
Collaborate closely with various cross functional teams including Technology, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and Regulatory & Government Affairs to ensure seamless alignment and execution across departments
Expand market profile through leadership of competitive positioning, thought leadership, and product marketing initiatives
Develop effective new routes to market with product innovations that expand our addressable market
Ensure successful product launches, including sales enablement, marketing collateral, and pricing strategies
Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, identify threats and opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly
Manage the product throughout its lifecycle, from introduction to end‑of‑life, which could involve assessing the market and making recommendations for product updates, improvements, or discontinuation
Define and implement go-to-market strategies to expand top-line revenue, including all product launches, pricing and packaging initiatives, and channel optimization (new and existing)
Define key product performance metrics (including financial analysis and profitability measures) and regularly assess product success against these metrics
Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize products and drive growth
Evaluate the impact of potential mergers, acquisitions, or other business alliances/partnerships on the organization’s profitability, revenue growth, and desired strategic product direction
Oversee product integration plans of selected M&A targets
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in product management with a proven record in driving annual revenue growth
5+ year’s leadership experience with a proven track record of success within the technology industry, preferably in the field of network security, cloud computing, or SASE
2+ years’ experience providing support to top‑level clients in a global/multi‑location environment preferred
Extensive experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and innovation
Strong understanding of concepts in network security, and cloud technologies
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross‑functional teams
Strong experience successfully executing in Agile development environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required
Masters/ Advanced degree in the same discipline is preferred
Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

The starting salary is anticipated between $235,000 and $250,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
