6–8 Years Role Summary

Design, develop, and maintain a secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure environment aligned with business and technology strategy. This role is responsible for planning, evaluating, recommending, and configuring infrastructure solutions that meet non-functional requirements and enterprise standards while supporting long-term growth and compliance. Key Responsibilities

Design infrastructure solutions based on project non-functional requirements (NFRs). Produce architecture and design artifacts for governance and review boards, including physical and logical infrastructure diagrams. Lead design discussions and present solutions for approval through architecture and design governance forums. Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners to validate and refine infrastructure designs. Ensure infrastructure solutions align with enterprise standards, security policies, and strategic roadmaps. Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies and deployment models. Support cost, risk, and compliance assessments during the design phase. Contribute to high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery architecture planning. Technical Skills

Strong expertise in infrastructure and system design principles. Ability to read and interpret system architecture and workflow diagrams. Deep knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design. Experience creating architecture diagrams using Visio or similar modeling tools. Multi-cloud architecture design and workload placement strategies. Knowledge of cloud region and availability zone design patterns. Understanding of network components such as load balancers, application gateways, and traffic management. Strong knowledge of TLS and infrastructure security controls. Familiarity with governance, audit, compliance, and risk assessment processes. Required Skills

On-premises and data center infrastructure design and solutioning. Cloud and hybrid infrastructure architecture. Virtualization and private cloud platforms. Preferred Profile

Experience working in architecture review and governance processes. Strong stakeholder communication and technical presentation skills. Ability to balance business requirements, risk, cost, and performance in solution design.
