Role Overview We are looking for a highly capable

SRE/Linux Automation Engineer

with strong Linux fundamentals and advanced scripting expertise in

Bash and Python .

This role focuses on

automation engineering, system reliability, OS-level troubleshooting, and AI CLI integrations

within an AI-first operational environment. The ideal candidate thrives in automation-driven ecosystems and brings a reliability-first engineering mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain automation scripts for Linux-based systems

Improve system reliability through automation-first practices

Troubleshoot OS-level and service-level issues

Integrate AI CLI tools into operational workflows

Contribute to observability and reliability improvements

Mandatory Requirements

3+ years of industry experience (non-internship)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Excellent Python scripting skills

Core Technical Skills

Strong understanding of Linux shells (bash/sh)

Solid grasp of Linux kernel fundamentals

Process management

Memory management

File systems

Hands-on experience with

systemd

cron

System logs (/var/log)

Basic networking fundamentals

SSH

DNS

Ports

Automation & Scripting

Python scripting for system automation

API integrations via CLI or REST

Added Advantage

Experience with Claude CLI / Gemini CLI

Exposure to LLM APIs

Docker fundamentals

CI/CD exposure

Cloud familiarity (AWS / Azure / GCP)
