THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Capital Formation and Investor Relations, the Marketing Lead (Fractional) is responsible for leading the organization’s end-to-end marketing function, including strategy development, execution, and performance measurement. This role works in close partnership with the Business Development (BD) team to define and execute the corporate marketing strategy, support revenue growth, and strengthen the organization’s market presence. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and serves as the primary owner of brand, messaging, and marketing operations across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Strategy and Planning:

Own the development and execution of the organization’s overall marketing strategy.

Align marketing initiatives with corporate objectives and BD priorities.

Define brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions across all channels.

Translate business goals into actionable marketing plans and campaigns.

Collaboration with Business Development:

Partner with Business Development team to support go‑to‑market strategy, pipeline development, and growth initiatives.

Develop marketing programs, presentations and materials that directly support BD and sales efforts.

Provide direct support to Asset Management team on existing client materials & presentations.

Collaborate on target market definition, account‑based initiatives, and campaign planning.

Incorporate BD insights and market feedback into marketing strategy and execution.

Marketing Execution:

Plan, execute, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, partnerships, and Public Relations.

Oversee all marketing channels, including website, email, social media, paid media, and content marketing.

Lead the development of marketing assets such as thought leadership, case studies, presentations, and sales collateral.

Performance Measurement and Optimization:

Define marketing KPIs and success metrics aligned with business objectives.

Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance and ROI.

Optimize campaigns and activities based on data, performance insights, and business priorities.

THE INDIVIDUAL Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and knowledge:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in marketing roles with increasing scope and responsibility.

Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end marketing functions, including strategy development, execution, and performance measurement.

Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives and revenue goals.

Extensive experience working in close partnership with Business Development and internal stakeholders to support go‑to‑market initiatives and pipeline growth.

Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and market differentiation.

Experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, content, events, partnerships, and Public Relations.

Strong content strategy and development capabilities, including thought leadership, case studies, presentations, and sales enablement materials.

Solid understanding of demand generation, lead management, and account-based marketing principles.

Experience managing marketing budgets and prioritizing initiatives based on impact and ROI.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize marketing initiatives based on data and insights.

Experience working with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.

Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and contractors.

Competencies and Knowledge

Ability to translate complex business objectives into clear marketing plans and actionable initiatives.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders.

High degree of ownership, accountability, and ability to operate independently in a hands‑on leadership role.

Experience conducting market research, analyzing customer insights, and evaluating competitive landscapes.
