Project Director, ICI Construction - Permanent - 3131
About the Opportunity
Our client, a reputable mid‑to‑large Canadian builder, is seeking a Project Director to oversee a portfolio of institutional, commercial, and light‑industrial projects in the Calgary market. This is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding multiple project teams, elevating delivery performance, and building long‑term client relationships.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Lead overall project strategy, planning, and execution across multiple sites
Provide operational oversight, risk management, forecasting, and performance control
Mentor and develop project managers, coordinators, and site leaders
Strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
Maintain schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards across all assigned projects
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
15+ years of experience with a general contractor
Proven leadership delivering mid to large ICI projects
Strong commercial and contractual understanding
Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consistent results
Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Salary ranging from $160,000 to $197,000 + Bonus + RRSP Matching + Ownership
