Job Description
Taalas is looking for passionate and motivated Digital Design Engineers, looking to make an impact in the AI Inference field. The right candidate will not be afraid to attack complex problems and assume broad ownership, ranging from chip or block architecture, programming models, through RTL and DV implementation, physical design and DFT.
Job Responsibilities
Write specifications, RTL, testbenches, stimulus
Synthesize and optimize your design, perform timing analysis
Collaborate with PD engineers to help with layout and routing of your design
Work with DFT engineers to define test requirements
Help to create tools/scripts to verify chip functionality in pre/post-silicon environments
Participate in defining board design requirements
Provide technical support to cross-functional teams during chip bring up /product validation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL
Strong understanding of digital design concepts, including synchronous/asynchronous design, finite state machines, and clock domain crossing.
Experience with ASIC design tools and methodologies, such as synthesis, static timing analysis, area/power analysis, linting, formal verification.
Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, Perl)
Familiarity with industry-standard protocols and interfaces, such as PCIe, USB, and DDR, is desirable.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
