Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff and other engineers Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures Analyze costs of production Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs Conduct preventive maintenance programs Direct quality control inspections Inspect products and processing methods; prepare reports and ensure that regulations governing health, quality and safety are followed Supervision: 1 to 2 people Experience and specialization: Measuring tools – Gauges Analytical techniques: Statistical analysis Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge Industrial processes and product experience: Quality assurance and control Area of work experience: Design, Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities, Project management, Quality assurance or control, Research and development, Lean Manufacturing Type of industry experience: Electrical and electronics products Railcar experience: Railway passenger cars Specialization or experience: Green economy sector Area of specialization: Production system, Industrial, Development of quality assurance programs Additional information
