The VP, Digital Strategy & Client Solutions is the
Head of Client Strategy
for Datmos. This leader will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing the vision for our strategic services, ensuring our consulting services are recognized for their data‑driven impact across North America.
We are looking for a visionary, and charismatic leader who can effectively engage senior executives, transform strategic ideas into concrete action plans, and take Datmos to a leading digital strategy and consulting partner.
Key Responsibilities
The VP, Digital Strategy & Client Solutions is accountable for the overall strategic direction, performance, and visibility of the consulting and creative units.
Vision, Strategy & Thought Leadership
Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the vision for Datmos’ Strategy and Client Solutions department, positioning the firm as the market leader in data‑driven customer experiences.
Data‑First Culture: Drive the adoption and maturity of data literacy, analytical methodologies, and AI/ML strategies across the organization and in client solutions.
Customer centric: Drive a customer‑centric strategy to create high‑value experiences powered by data and insights.
External Visibility: Act as the primary Thought Leader for Datmos. Actively participate in conferences, industry publications, and client executive steering committees to build brand recognition, promote our consulting expertise, and drive adoption of forward‑thinking strategies.
C‑Suite Engagement: Serve as the Executive Consulting Strategist on high‑value, complex, or critical B2C and B2B accounts, leading top‑level strategic discussions with C‑Suite clients.
Lead and mentor a high‑performing management team of Leaders, who collectively manage a department of approximately 20 experts and talents.
Talent Development: Accountable for the development, coaching, mobilization, and performance of the entire strategic department, ensuring a continuous pipeline of world‑class talent.
Thought Leadership: Provide demanding yet inspiring leadership, holding the team accountable for profitability targets, excellence in advice, and continuous innovation.
Business Growth & Financial Performance
Service Development: Be responsible for the development, pricing, and maturity of Datmos’ consulting services, moving the agency beyond pure development into high‑value strategic consulting.
Sales Support: Provide key executive support to the VP, Sales, Marketing, and Partnership, actively participating in pre‑sales and business development meetings to shape strategic proposals and secure high‑impact accounts.
Profitability: Ensure the financial viability and overall profitability of the Strategy and Client Solutions department by maintaining high service utilization, efficient resource allocation, and achieving revenue targets.
Requirements and Desired Skills
Executive Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in business strategy, digital commerce, or high‑level consulting, including at least 5 years in a VP or Executive Director role managing multiple senior direct reports.
B2B Strategy Focus: Proven, deep expertise in B2B digital transformation, understanding the complexities of B2B e‑commerce platforms, sales models, and underlying technologies (PIM, ERP, CRM, CPQ, …).
Data Acumen: Recognized expertise in leveraging data, analytics, and business intelligence to drive strategic client outcomes and define measurable roadmaps.
Data & AI: High interest in building data & AI services for our clients and also leveraging AI to enhance our internal services.
C‑Suite Presence: Demonstrated ability to interact, negotiate, and advise at the C‑suite level (CEO, CMO, CIO) with exceptional presence and communication skills.
Leadership Style: Proven experience in “tough leadership” and mentoring management‑level talent (Directors/Heads of/Leads), fostering a strong, high‑performance team culture.
Language: Bilingual fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is highly desirable, as the role involves interacting with clients and teams across North America.
Travel: Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across Canada and the USA for client engagements, conferences, and internal leadership meetings.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent executive education is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Flexibility
This is a senior, Executive Exempt Role where you are evaluated on performance and outcomes providing significant autonomy. We offer a highly competitive salary package that includes a performance‑based bonus model tied to organizational OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), ensuring clear alignment with our company's strategic goals. We operate as a 100% remote company with flexible hours and work location. While fully remote, the VP is expected to travel frequently for strategic client engagements and internal leadership meetings across our hubs (Quebec City, Montreal, Whitefish, Montana) and client locations.
