Job Description

Ownership of Zuora platform (Billing, CPQ, Revenue, Collections) and the end-to-end data pipelines feeding OneData. Design, automate and operate workflows, document templates and integrations to enable scalable, auditable quote-to-cash and financial reporting.

Design and maintain Zuora workflows for order-to-cash, billing, dunning, and collections, and revenue.

Automation & Document Templates

Build automation to replace manual finance and sales operations tasks.

Create and maintain document templates (quotes, invoices, credit memos, statements, etc.) across entities, currencies, and languages. Version changes with testing and release discipline.

Ensure templates meet finance, legal and brand requirements.

Implement reliable automation patterns (scheduling, branching, retries, monitoring, failure recovery, audit-friendly traceability)

Develop and maintain custom notifications and operational alerts for exceptions and key billing/collections events.

Integrations

Design, implement and operate integrations between Zuora and CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Workday), payment providers, downstream reporting systems, and middleware (MuleSoft).

Use APIs (REST/SOAP as applicable), webhooks, middleware and batch processes to guarantee data integrity and reliability. Including data mappings, error handling, and operational monitoring.

Monitor and resolve integration failures; own incident remediation for Zuora integrations.

Design, build and maintain robust, tested data pipelines that ingest Zuora source data into OneData.

Implement ETL/ELT transformations, data modeling and schema evolution to support finance, analytics and RevOps consumers.

Ensure pipelines support both incremental and full loads, perform reconciliation with Zuora, and meet SLAs.

Implement data quality checks, monitoring, alerting, lineage and recovery procedures.

Define and enforce data contracts; collaborate with DataOps/Data Governance on access, security and compliance.

Optimize pipelines for scale, latency, and cost.

Revenue, Compliance & Reporting

Configure and support Zuora Revenue for financial reporting compliances.

Partner with Finance on revenue recognition rules, close processes and audit readiness.

Ensure accurate data flows for financial close, management reporting and analytics.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

Provide Tier 2/3 support and act as Zuora subject-matter expert across Finance, Sales Ops and RevOps.

Partner with Finance (Billing/AR/RevRec) and Engineering to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation (workflow specs, runbooks, integration contracts, data mappings).

Participate in UAT, testing, and release management.

Evaluate Zuora and OneData platform capabilities and lead enhancements and upgrades.

What we’re looking for

Mid–senior experience delivering technical solutions on Zuora (strong preference for Billing + Revenue + Collections).

Hands‑on expertise with Zuora Workflows and automation design in production environments.

Strong experience with Zuora APIs and integration patterns (data mapping, retries, monitoring, error handling).

Strong data querying skills (Zuora Data Query and/or SQL) for reconciliation and debugging.

Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Finance stakeholders and deliver audit‑friendly, reliable automation.

Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to independently drive issues to resolution.

Strong skills in SQL, Python (or similar), and experience with ETL/ELT patterns.

Solid understanding of quote‑to‑cash, order‑to‑cash, and revenue recognition processes.

Experience implementing data quality, monitoring, and reconciliation processes.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions and SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications

Zuora certifications (Billing, CPQ, Revenue).

Familiarity with OneData platform architecture and tools (AWS).

Experience with orchestration and processing tools.

Experience with data warehousing technologies (AWS) or data lakes.

Experience with ERP systems (Workday) and payment providers.

Knowledge of SOX controls, audit practices, and financial compliance.

Automation first, accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ownership mindset; ability to operate complex systems end‑to‑end.

Clear, concise communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Collaborative: works effectively with Finance, Data Engineering, RevOps and IT.
