Technical Sales Manager (Laboratory / Testing Services)
Salary + transport claimable if travel site
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm
Is an innovative laboratory in Singapore specializing in both chemical and microbiological parameters required for Bunker Oil and Environmental (soil, water and industrial waste) testing.
Responsibilities
Responsible for revenue growth for the Environment Business Unit
Work with sales leadership and marketing to establish action plans for prospecting and lead generation, acquiring new accounts, developing sales tactics, penetrating new lines of business and developing specific account strategies
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for verticals and assigned geographies
Provide reporting and activity management including CRM and other tools
Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement
Qualifications
Background in environmental testing / analytical laboratories, environmental consulting, water & wastewater treatment, industrial compliance / HSE services, or lab equipment & consumables sales.
Proven B2B sales to manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, mining, infrastructure, real estate, municipalities, EPCs, and government bodies.
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or Geology preferred.
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and environmental regulations
Working knowledge of water & soil testing, sampling protocols, key parameters (BOD, COD, heavy metals, etc.), TAT, QA/QC, and compliance vs. investigative testing.
5–10 years B2B technical sales, including new account acquisition, tendering, and long-cycle deals.
Experience closing annual contracts, framework agreements, and retainers.
