Job Description

Engagement Manager MaintainX is the world's leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform for industrial and frontline environments. What You’ll Do

Partner with the sales team during the presales process to represent MaintainX’s professional services organization and explain our client onboarding methodology.

Participate in customer discovery sessions to understand business needs and use that knowledge to propose clear, achievable implementation plans that demonstrate MaintainX’s structured approach to success.

Lead the transition from sales to implementation once a customer commits, ensuring all stakeholders understand project scope, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.

Serve as a trusted advisor and single point of accountability during this critical period, helping clients navigate each step of onboarding with confidence and clarity.

Monitor delivery progress, facilitate communication between MaintainX teams and the customer, and proactively manage any changes or challenges that may arise.

Focus on creating a positive, predictable experience that builds trust and positions MaintainX as a long‑term strategic partner.

Success is measured by how well clients understand and embrace the onboarding process, how accurately expectations are managed, and how confidently customers move through implementation toward successful adoption.

About You

5+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or client‑facing implementation roles within SaaS or technology industries.

Proven ability to communicate complex technical or process concepts clearly and effectively to executive and operational audiences.

Strong presentation, facilitation, and relationship‑management skills.

Demonstrated experience managing client expectations and aligning multiple stakeholders.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.

Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial technology environments preferred.

Knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and their application in maintenance engineering, smart manufacturing, or digital transformation initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification a plus).
