Their medical diagnostics division has selected ROSS to help them find a Senior Product (Business) Analyst for their Medical Diagnostics division.

Overview You will work with cross functional teams to understand the business requirements of new medical diagnostics software projects. The software interfaces with medical devices for example to assay DNA samples or to interact with a biotech medical analyzer. Once the business recognizes the need for a product, you would have to lead the requirements to ensure excellent documentation (as regulated by the FDA and other strict regulatory bodies) for the development and testing of the software. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams but especially with the validation and verification team to ensure that the testing team fully understands what the intention, requirements and specifications are so that the product will pass safety and functionality testing.

You Must Have

Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders both internal and external

The ability to translate new software product requirements and specs from scratch to excellent documentation

Exemplary communication skills

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s Degree is preferred.

5+ years of product / business analyst experience

Knowledge of key elements of effective software requirements/specifications and testing including System/Software Modeling, SDLC, Object-orientated analysis methods for use case/scenario development is required.

Use Cases

The Official Description Reporting to the Senior Requirements Manager, the Senior Software Product Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating and aiding in the development of software products to meet the needs of the company and its customers. You are responsible for driving the creation of user-orientated requirements and specifications and the testing of products designed to meet those requirements. Requirements will be derived through a combination of Product Design and System-level requirements analysis and interactions with stakeholders such as Marketing and customers. Testing responsibilities include developing validation & verification plans and reports. Additional responsibilities include department representation on product oversight committees, troubleshooting and coordinating resolutions to customer problems, and assisting in the creation and validation of user and regulatory documentation for each software release.

You will be responsible for aiding in the development and execution of project schedules by providing estimation inputs for timely delivery of documentation. You will analyze Product Design and System-level requirements for the purposes of identifying and defining the scope of lower-level requirements and specifications, and their associated risks. Additionally, you will work with other groups or individuals within and outside the Diagnostics software department to elicit requirements and specification details. You will aid software developers in interpreting requirements during their design, development and testing phases, facilitate a resolution to requirements conflicts between stakeholder groups, work with Information design group to ensure the completeness and quality of software product documentation releases, and design verification & validation plans, strategies, and test cases.
