REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate Knowledge of High and Low German is an asset. Previous experience teaching Grades 4 & 5 core subject curriculum The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member. Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check The above represents general core qualifications for the position and may vary as necessary to the operations of the school/program.

SCHOOL INFORMATION: Border Valley School

is a K-8 school located in a rural setting, a short 20-minute drive south of the City of Winkler. The school serves several smaller communities and rural homes in the surrounding area. Border Valley has a student population of approximately 100 students, a teaching staff of 13 and a support staff of 11. The size of the school community allows staff to provide strong academic programming while building positive student relationships.
