The Opportunity
We’re looking for a New Accounts Administrator to join our Operations team for 6 months, reporting to the Supervisor, New Accounts. The role focuses on the day‑to‑day processing of new accounts and fee‑based accounts in a timely and accurate manner within the IIROC dealer space.

What Your Day Looks Like
Processing new account set‑up in conjunction with service level agreements and top‑tier credit unions.
Provide administrative support and maintenance for fee‑based business lines, including monthly fee generation and posting.
Ensure proper protocol when processing requests, with clear notes and updated information.
Use systems (Laserfiche, OSM, Dataphile) in compliance with policy and regulation.
Set up accounts correctly per NAAs and code transactions with tax reporting rules.
Keep internal manuals current and updated with policy, regulation, and system changes.
Communicate with peers and supervisors about issues or changes.
Schedule consistent cross‑training to understand all processing functions.
Foster continuous improvement initiatives.
Meet or exceed partner and client expectations.
Requirements
Completion of a post‑secondary program in finance or business (preferred).
At least one year of administrative experience, preferably in the mutual‑fund or financial industry.
Knowledge of Dataphile is an asset.
Background in the credit‑union system is an advantage.
Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) course is an asset.
Fluent English; bilingual French is an asset.
