The Role.
We’re hiring an
Associate Director, Performance Marketing
to lead the strategy, performance, and paid media execution for a portfolio of clients. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, hands‑on marketer who thrives on driving measurable results, diving into the work, and bringing new ideas to the table to grow ROI for both clients and the business.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep performance marketing expertise with strong client leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for outcomes. You won’t just set the strategy—you’ll be in‑platform making the magic happen, ensuring ideas translate into real performance.

You build strong client relationships, confidently lead performance conversations, and maintain a clear pulse on every moving piece of the media strategy. The Responsibilities.

Big-Picture Thinking, Hands‑On Delivery:
You operate seamlessly at both tactical and strategic levels - hands‑on in execution while translating insights into impact‑driven recommendations that lead performance conversations and help clients achieve and exceed goals.
Deep Client Understanding:
Know your clients’ businesses so well you could work there. You understand their industry, challenges, and opportunities deeply.
End-to-End Digital Media Strategy:
Own and lead full‑funnel digital media strategy across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and emerging channels, ensuring all efforts align to client business goals and drive measurable outcomes.
Performance & Optimization Leadership:
Analyze performance data to uncover insights, implement optimizations, and inform strategic recommendations. Lead structured testing roadmaps across creative, audiences, bidding, and landing pages to turn learnings into scalable impact.
Growth & Innovation Mindset:
Proactively identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation, bringing new ideas forward that elevate performance and expand the client partnership.
Performance Accountability:
Own the results and drive execution, and ensure all strategic initiatives deliver performance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with creative, analytics, and channel specialists to deliver integrated, high‑performing programs that move the business forward.
The Qualifications.
Do you have 6–8 years of performance marketing experience, including leading strategic conversations and executing directly in ad platforms?
Are you deeply hands‑on in‑platform, with experience in media planning, buying, and ongoing campaign management?
Do you have expert‑level experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, programmatic, and emerging channels?
Do you have experience with Amazon Ads and/or retail media networks like Walmart Connect (or similar)?
Have you supported or integrated performance programs with email, CRM, SEO/AIO, and/or CRO initiatives?
Have you worked across DTC, e‑commerce, lead gen, and retail—and can you point to specific strategies you’ve used to meet the unique needs of each?
Do you have experience with creative analysis and testing, including using performance insights to guide iteration?
Are you confident building reporting that includes pulling data, identifying key insights, recommending pivots, and presenting performance narratives to clients?
Do you have experience with measurement strategies like multi‑touch attribution (MTA) and/or incrementality testing?
Are you highly collaborative—comfortable leading when needed and also being led depending on the account and team structure?
Are you a strong verbal and written communicator who can translate complex performance concepts into clear, accessible takeaways for stakeholders?
