We are looking for an experienced welder to join our workshop located in Montréal.

Your mission: shaping metal
Perform various welding tasks
Work with different types of metals
Brush, grind, and polish parts as needed
Read and interpret blueprints
Manufacture and assemble metal structures
Repair transport trucks for vehicle hauling
General maintenance
Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor
What you already master - technical skills
Mastery of processes: SMAW, GMAW (MIG), FCAW
Skilled in plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting
Ability to read blueprints and fabricate metal structures
Experience repairing mining equipment and heavy machinery
Use of magnetic drills and industrial grinders
Strict adherence to workplace safety standards
What we’re looking for
Expertise in welding, fabrication, and material preparation
Experience with vehicle transport equipment (an asset)
Basic knowledge of road vehicle mechanics (an asset)
DEP in welding-assembly
Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
Precision, attention to detail
Dynamism, rigor, and team spirit
Autonomy and sense of responsibility
Respect for health and safety rules
Minimum 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
What you can expect from the position
Salary: $24.69/hr-$38.36/hr (depending on relevant experience and the collective agreement)
Day shift: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
On-site position
Ability to commute: Must be able to commute reliably before starting work (required)
