This is a hybrid position based out of North York @ 243 Consumers Rd (near hwy. 404 and hwy. 401) - You will work 4 days a week in office and 1 day remote

As a strategic leader, the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will shape and guide Lifemark’s financial strategy during a period of significant growth. Reporting to the CFO, this role will lead the consolidated financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting process for Lifemark.
The individual will work closely with senior leadership, to ensure sound financial decision-making, robust capital management and support the short-term and long-term objectives of the business. Success in this role requires deep expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and business partnering within a multi-location, high-growth environment. It will take a story teller to convey key messages beyond the numbers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting & Insights:
Oversee and develop comprehensive financial reporting for senior management and enterprise.
Define and report key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Streamline and automate data collection and reporting processes across key stakeholders.
Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting-analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends and communicating business insights to senior leadership.
Develop the reporting for corporate departments and work with cross-functional leaders to ensure corporate targets are delivered.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives to provide financial analysis direction for operational decisions.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting and multi-year strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Develop a monthly forecasting process along with insights and recommendations on trends, opportunities and risks in the forecast.
Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate key trends, identify profitable growth opportunities and ensure forecast accuracy.
Strategic Planning:
Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and execute financial strategies that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiencies.
Lead special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Leadership and Operational Excellence:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.
Responsible for developing a strong pipeline of finance talent and succession planning to support long-term departmental growth.
Possesses strong business acumen with the willingness to learn the business and challenge business partners as appropriate.
Improve financial processes and implement automation tools for better efficiency for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, etc.
Expected to drive technological innovation, implementing new software or financial systems that improve financial operations, reporting accuracy, and forecasting reliability.
Lead change management initiatives as the company evolves, ensuring smooth transitions in financial systems, processes, and strategies.
Cross-functional collaboration to ensure financial alignment with operational strategies.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
MBA, CPA, CFA strongly preferred.
10-15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior FP&A and business partnering leadership role.
Experience in a multi-location and/or healthcare services organization is highly desirable.
Proven experience leading large scale budgeting and forecasting processes
Strong background in financial modeling, providing value added insights and being able to “tell the story”
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with executive presence
Expertise in Sage Accpac and reporting tools (Power BI, Vena, Power Query etc.).
Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate business goals into actionable financial strategies.
Analytical Expertise: Strong command of financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
Executive Communication: Comfortable presenting complex financial concepts to C-suite executives as well as leaders across the organization.
Leadership: Proven ability to build, develop and mentor high-performing finance teams. Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and driving operational efficiencies.
