Toronto, ON | Hybrid (2–4 days onsite)
I'm partnering confidentially with an established consumer digital company (50M+ global users) to hire a Vice President of Product & Monetization. This is not a tactical product role.
This is a General Manager mandate - full commercial ownership of a live digital portfolio.
The Role
Own full P&L accountability (revenue, OpEx, margin)
Lead product strategy and long-term roadmap
Oversee monetization architecture, including in-app purchases, pricing, and offer strategy
Direct live operations cadence and promotional calendars
Balance revenue optimization with long-term user trust and platform health
Lead ~30 cross‑functional reports across Product, Content, QA, Production, Community, and Support
Serve as the primary product & commercial voice to the CEO and Board
This role is designed for a senior operator who has:
Personally run a live consumer digital product as a business
Made trade‑offs between revenue, retention, and experience
Built and led multi-disciplinary teams
Operated in high‑velocity, data‑driven environments
Presented regularly to executive leadership and/or boards
Experience in consumer apps, digital marketplaces, monetization‑heavy platforms, gambling, dating, loyalty ecosystems, or subscription models is highly relevant.
