Job Description
The Opportunity
Responsible for managing the performance and growth of the Power Generation category including Sales, Service, Rental, Parts, Projects, Engineering, and full P&L.
The Role
Maintain expert knowledge of existing and potential vendors and dealers and applications of the assigned PG category area
Works with Power Gen Managers to align and deliver annual product sales targets by market, category and vendor
Support Power Gen Managers and Dealer advisors by participating in meetings with vendors to negotiate contracts, rebates and special prices
Work closely with Key Account Managers and End Market Leaders to manage national customers, support programs, sales initiatives and business growth
Lead, coach and support a group of Managers including, Sales, Parts and services, Production, Engineering and Project Management
Optimize operational efficiency and financial viability across engineering activities
Contribute to executive reviews to validate that initiatives are aligned with business priorities and financially sustainable
Maintain the ISO certification
The Candidate
Language:
Fully bilingual (French & English)
Education:
Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering required, MBA preferred
Work Experience:
7-10 years of related work experience
Knowledge:
A successful track record in driving business development efforts related to setting and meeting sales and service targets;
Proficiency:
Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
